Delilah, a 51 year old female, who had been suffering from trigeminal neuralgia for five years presented to Ellingson Chiropractic, a BioVeda Health and Wellness Center, seeking relief. Trigeminal neuralgia, also known as tic douloureux, is a disorder of the trigeminal nerve that causes intense pain in the ear, eye, lips, nose, scalp, forehead, teeth, or jaw on one side and alongside of the face. Dr. Eric Ellingson, D.C. determined Delilah’s temporomandibular joint (TMJ) on the opposite side of her facial pain was slightly misaligned, or subluxated, causing asymmetrical motion of her jaw which put stress on the trigeminal nerve.  Dr. Ellingson also found subluxations in Delilah’s neck causing further stress on her nervous system.

Stress causes or exacerbates most health related conditions. According to the American Medical Association, stress is the cause of 80 to 85 percent of all human illness and disease. Dr. Ellingson utilized chiropractic adjustments to correct Delilah’s subluxated TMJ and neck reducing the amount of stress on her nervous system. Delilah also underwent Neurological Stress Reduction Therapy with the Bax-3000 to reduce specific stress on her Autonomic Nervous System. Delilah reported an 80 percent improvement after three visits with Dr. Ellingson.

This is Delilah’s story in her own words:

I am a 51 year old female who has lived with chronic pain for the past five years of my life. It all started shortly after I had three surgeries to remove tumors from my scalp. The pain then began to hurt in the left side of my face, jaw, gums, ear and neck. I was miserable. The medical society tried at least 20 different medications with me and I did physical therapy. They pulled all of my top and some of my bottom teeth, but the pain was still there. After all of that, they tried to blame my mind.

I was depressed, afraid and angry. Then I heard of Dr. Eric Ellingson and a new procedure called Bax-3000 cold laser therapy. My pain was 80% gone after three visits with Dr. Ellingson. It has been widely reported in the local news that the owner of Great Specialty Products, a Durham, NC company, was arrested on charges of fraud for selling gluten-free bread.  Gluten is a special type of protein that is commonly found in rye, wheat, and barley. Therefore, gluten is found in most types of cereals and in many types of bread. According to WRAL news, numerous people who bought products from Great Specialty at the 2009 State Fair or ordered items from the company’s Web site have complained of allergic reactions after eating the products. The state Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, which pursued the criminal charges, said tests of the bread showed high levels of gluten.

Gluten allergies and many other food allergies are common. Often times the only option people suffering from food allergies have is to avoid them. A patient contacted our Durham, North Carolina BioVeda Health and Wellness Center for help in treating allergy symptoms related to cats and shellfish. The patient works as a pet groomer and reported allergy symptoms of itchy, watery eyes in addition to sneezing and a runny nose when around cats. She would break out in hives, have difficulty breathing and may experience anaphylactic shock if accidentally eating shellfish.

Following allergy assessments with the Bax-3000 to determine the patent’s response to common allergens, her allergies to cats and shellfish were confirmed plus it was determined she was also allergic to eggs, milk and cheese. The patient was then treated with LASER, or Light and Sound Energy Relaxation Therapy, to condition her body to react normally to these otherwise harmless substances. After only seven, simple LASER treatments, she reported a complete elimination of her cat allergies and food allergies.

This is Jean’s report of a Thanksgiving miracle.

A new treatment protocol has wiped out my mold allergy and hopefully will turn my health around for good! No meds, no shots, no blood labs, no drops, no pain, no re-detox. Just a series of short treatments with a cold laser. Dr. Eric Ellingson, a chiropractor in Durham, NC tested and treated me with the BAX 3000, or Bioveda stress reduction system.

As some of you know, if you are miserable enough, you keep searching for help. With two genetic markers for mold susceptibility, and having been under tremendous stress during heavy exposure to mold, mold had indeed made me miserable. During some five years following the mold crisis, I have tried various protocols from three doctors. Trial and error often is the best available for mold patients. I had been unable to visit many friends & relatives — or go to therapy — because I reacted to various levels of mold at places and usually endured freak symptoms that made me ill. The symptoms following just a 30-minute visit included edema, twitching eye muscles, horrible itching (especially in scalp), scalp “crawling,” leg/toe cramping, random muscle twitching, random sharp pains, ongoing bloating/gas, cravings, dizziness or “brain fog,” insomnia, and nausea. And those “minor symptoms” persisted after several years of trial-and-error treatments, supplements, & home detoxification with a sauna and foot spa, massage, etc. The original gamut of symptoms was a much longer list, with worse symptoms, as well as permanent gut problems, 50-lb. weight gain, weakness, fatigue, medically/lab-documented nerve/brain injury with big-time memory loss, hair loss and skin deterioration.

BUT, thanks to Dr. Eric Ellingson and treatments with the Bax3000, I was able to enjoy Thanksgiving with family at my sister’s for three and one-half hours (and not having to sit out on the porch while others were inside) – and with no after-reaction!!! Also, I spent time with my precious 85-year-old friend Lottie last Sunday — with no after-reaction. (Had been unable to go into her house since 2005, when a mold infestation was documented in her crawl space, but not remediated.) I was in therapy a full hour Wednesday at the (documented “moldy”) old historic home — with no after-reaction! I no longer have to meet my therapist in the coffee shop. I can go inside where my artwork is displayed.

Soon I’ll check out sister Irene’s place (documented mold in 2006, but not remediated) and my niece’s place (documented mold in 2006; remediated; but re-infested possibly). I stopped going inside their houses because of so many after-reactions. Now, I should have no problem, even with pet hairs/dander, etc., from two golden retrievers at the niece’s. I should be able to visit sister Kay, who smokes, as this new treatment addresses smoke as well as diesel fuel and perfumes.

Rejoice! I can resume life with a semblance of normalcy, visiting loved ones without fear of illness.
